Program Lead - Vice President - Production Underwriter

Global organization seeking an Insurance professional with a Production Underwriting background for a workers compensation trucking program. The program is poised for growth and the company offers a strong comp and annual incentive plan. 

• Responsible for all aspects of the program


• Marketing the program


• Managing retailer relationships and sourcing business


• Gathering market intelligence


• Underwriting and referrals


• Working with actuaries to refine rating models


• Delegate to service team to make sure policies are issued and serviced


• Working with the TPA to make sure claims are being handled appropriately 


• Identify gaps in the market for additional products l


• Identify market gaps in underwriting appetite 


• Manage the P&L for the program


• Interface with Reinsurance partners 

Qualifications Desired

• Underwriting experience

• WC strongly preferred but not mandatory for an otherwise excellent candidate


• 10 years + underwriting with program management a plus
