  • Assist the Financial Analyst team in day-to-day operations

  • Retrieve, compile and analyze financial data from various online resources

  • Organize and catalog reporting obtained by actuarial team and other vendor relationships

  • Monitor and maintain schedule of deliverable reports from the financial analyst team

  • Assist in the benefit renewal/marketing process

  • Gathering information from vendor and client

  • Preparing RFPs and following through with involved parties

  • Preparing spreadsheets & proposals for client presentations

  • Assist with framework/shell of various (renewal, strategy and claims reviews) presentations

  • Assist and support new business prospects with analysis

  • Benchmarking, spreadsheeting, observations & savings opportunities

  • Help with evaluation and streamline day-to-day activities

  • Brining outside ideas and efficiencies to the team.


Required Qualifications :


  • Working knowledge of group medical and dental insurance

  • One to two years account management or equivalent education or training

  • Understanding of the medical renewal cycle that includes building an RFP

  • Accurately spreadsheeting a medical quote

  • Intermediate knowledge of the structure of group medical and dental plans

  • Understanding components of Benefit designs

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with intermediate understanding of formulas, functions, pivot tables and charts required.




  • Undergraduate college degree preferred

  • Life and Health Insurance State License; company will support further educational pursuits 

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of statistical mathematics

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Enjoys working in, and actively helps to support and cultivate, a collaborative team 

  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as necessary with high sense of urgency

  • Strong relationship management skills and excellent customer service skills
